Cap-City Cleanse Feb 2021
February 1, 2021
$120Looking for more lightness this winter? Do you want to deepen your knowledge and connection with Ayurveda the sister science of Yoga? Join Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner Sarah Barasch for a kitchari based 3 or 7 day cleanse in early February
Gentle, nourishing whole foods cleanse your mind and body using traditional Ayurvedic methods. Based on recipes similar to Kitchari: split yellow mung beans and basmati rice when cooked with ghee and spices gives your digestive system simple, easy fuel, which allows your natural detoxification systems to eliminate better during the kitchari days. When taken exclusively for 3 meals per day, this diet allows the deeper layers of your tissues to remove ama (toxins), balance your weight and restore emotional balance.
Join CAP Sarah Barasch on Zoom for a 2 hour Initial Cleanse Meeting (two options: Sunday, January 17 or Thursday, January 21) to learn how we will use daily Ayurvedic habits, DIY tea, DIY spice mixes, therapeutic bathing, and optional herbs to enhance the deep effects of this cleanse and introduce you to healthier self-care habits. Also included is a 12 page booklet of recipes, charts, full instructions and background of the Ayurvedic philosophy of cleansing. We will have a private Facebook group and you will have a daily email and email support from Sarah throughout the week. We will wrap things up on Day 7 with a 30 minute closing meeting on Zoom. Ghee, body oil, neti pot, tongue scraper, cooking ingredients, herbs are an additional investment.
